Since 1997, the Friends of the Old Teachers’ College has been dedicated to ensuring the College building remains open and used by groups within the community.

As a member you will receive regular newsletters outlining progress to date, forthcoming activities, news relating to former staff, students and reunions.

There is still much to be done to record and promote the history and heritage of the building for which funds are always needed. The group is constantly aware that the cultural and historical significance of the building is at risk as is its rich heritage.  The Friends consider themselves ‘guardians of the Old Teachers’ College’. Grants have been used to upgrade the building and funds are raised to record and promote the history of the College and collect and display memorabilia. Your membership will ensure the Friends continue to preserve the history and heritage of this wonderful building.
